Acceptance
By installing and using SafaRoll, you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the app.
What SafaRoll does
SafaRoll identifies the species of animals you photograph and turns them into collectible cards. Identification is produced by a statistical model: it is usually right, never guaranteed. Do not rely on it to decide whether an animal, fungus or plant is dangerous, edible or protected.
Your photos are yours
You keep ownership of the photos you take. By publishing a deck, you grant SafaRoll a limited licence to display the cards it contains to other players, for as long as the deck stays published. Unpublishing the deck or deleting your account ends that licence.
Zero tolerance on published content
The following are forbidden: nudity and sexual content, violence, hate, harassment, impersonation, spam, and any photo that is not yours. Content breaching these rules is removed, and the account that published it may be suspended without notice. Every public deck and profile can be reported from inside the app, and any player can be blocked.
Respect for animals and the law
SafaRoll rewards the encounter, not the capture. Do not approach, bait or disturb an animal to get a card, and do not enter protected or private land without permission. You remain solely responsible for complying with the rules that apply where you photograph.
Age and capacity
You must have the legal capacity to accept these terms. If you use SafaRoll as a minor, you must have your legal guardian's permission.
Prohibited behaviour
You must not circumvent security measures, disrupt the service, gain unauthorised access to our systems, automate bulk extraction of content, or distort the leaderboards with captures that are not genuine photographs of real animals.
Subscriptions
SafaRoll offers subscriptions managed through the App Store. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple account settings. Species identification stays free and unlimited for everyone: a non-subscriber never receives a wrong card so that a subscriber can receive a right one.
Apple account and payments
Purchases are billed by Apple using the payment details tied to your Apple Account. SafaRoll neither receives nor stores your payment details. Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store rules.
Intellectual property
The app, its brand, interface, card scenes and texts are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Your right to use is personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable.
Availability and updates
We may fix, evolve or temporarily suspend certain features to keep the service safe and sound. A recent version of iOS may be required.
Suspension and ending use
You can stop using SafaRoll at any time. Deleting your account from the profile wipes your data. Note: deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription, which is cancelled separately in Apple settings.
Limitation of liability
SafaRoll is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We cannot be held liable for how you use the app, for a wrong identification, or for any interruption of service.
Changes
These terms may change. For any significant change, we will notify you in the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are interpreted under applicable law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of their country of residence. In case of a dispute, contact us first so we can seek an amicable solution.
